Scattered Flurries Plate

I made this oval stoneware plate with a carved floral surface and a layered blue-grey glaze with scattered light flecks.

It works well as a small serving plate, dessert plate, trinket dish, or display piece. The surface has a wintery feeling, but the form stays simple and useful.

This is handmade stoneware, made one piece at a time in my Newfoundland studio.
