Light Flurries Plate

I made this small oval stoneware plate with a softly carved floral surface and a layered blue-grey glaze with light speckling.

It works well as a small serving plate, dessert plate, trinket dish, or display piece. The surface has a quiet wintery feeling, but the form stays useful and easy to live with.

This is handmade stoneware, made one piece at a time in my Newfoundland studio.
