Late Summer Garden Round Plate

I made this round stoneware plate with carved botanical lines and a warm glossy brown glaze.

It works well as a small serving plate, dessert plate, trinket dish, or display piece. The glaze settles into the carved surface and brings out the handwork without making the piece feel fussy.

This is handmade stoneware, made one piece at a time in my Newfoundland studio.
