Blue Frost Plate

I made this small oval stoneware plate with a hand-carved floral surface and layered blue glaze.

It works well as a small serving plate, dessert plate, trinket dish, or display piece. The carving gives the surface movement, while the blue glaze keeps it calm and easy to live with.

This is handmade stoneware, made one piece at a time in my Newfoundland studio.
