Berry Cove Lidded Jar

I made this lidded jar with a rounded form, pointed finial, and a glossy berry-red glaze with softer breaks of colour through the surface.

It works well for tea, sugar, treats, jewelry, or small keepsakes. The shape is useful and steady, while the glaze gives it a warm, lively feeling.

This is handmade stoneware, made one piece at a time in my Newfoundland studio.
